Ofsted Registered Childminder

About Me

I qualified as an Ofsted registered childminder in 2005 and am able to care for up to six children under the age of eight, of which no more than three can be under five years old and only one can be under a year old as well as over older children. I live in Litchborough which is a rural village about five miles from Towcester and am married with two daughters, aged thirteen and eleven. Before becoming a childminder I was a Secondary Science teacher for eight years. My elder daughter was cared for by a childminder so I have a good understanding of the relationship needed between families and their childminder and the requirements of working parents.

I aim to provide children with a safe, relaxed home environment which they enjoy attending. I meet all the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and work in partnership with parents / carers to give high quality care which maximises the learning and development of each individual child.
